About Me
Chris O'Coin is a Brooklyn based filmmaker known for having a keen eye for nuance and visual metaphor as well as an impeccable sense of story and pacing. His work has screened and garnered awards at numerous film festivals including The South By Southwest Film Festival, The Atlanta Film Festival, Cinequest and the Independent Film Festival of Boston among others. As a musician Chris is sought after for his natural ability at cutting live performance and music related programming. He has worked with a wide range of artists from Grammy award winning singer Adele, to indie favorites like Iron & Wine and James Blake, to death metal heroes Fear Factory, and As I Lay Dying. When he's not holed up in an editing suite he can be found fronting the bands Suburbanite, Aerosols, Wasteland, and probably starting up a few more for good measure.
